Say goodbye to 2018, celebrate the year that was and ring in 2019 at NYE in the City.  Blurring the line between club and pop music, New Year’s Eve in the City will be headlined by PACES.

If paradise has a soundtrack, PACES is curating it. This dad and dog lover PACES – real name Mikey Perry – cloaks everything he does in happiness and explosive colour. He’s earned himself a name for his wild live shows which incorporate everything from confetti canons to light-up inflatable animals.

His work has received high acclaim, having won InTheMix’s prestigious ‘Breakthrough Artist Of The Year award in 2016 for his debut album Vacation.  He has also taken out the number one spot on iTunes’ electronic chart.

On top of all that, his performance on Triple J’s Like A Version with Australian music icon, Guy Sebastian, is one of the most popular LAV’s in history.

PACES can name drop better than most artists. He has collaborated with all your favourite artists, including DJ and Producer Alison Wonderland.

PACES’ entire career has been beaming since the very beginning and it continues to radiate, with soaring chords and earth-shattering drops. Wearing a huge grin on his face PACES has overcome hurdles, including skin cancer.

PACES wants his shows to be a safe space for all, bringing only positive vibes to the stage.

PACES will be headlining NYE in the City on 31 December in Civic Square. Enjoy free entry to the concert and the best view in town of the midnight fireworks, which will be launched from nearby City Hill.

Party till late and ride home safe with Transport Canberra’s Late Night Rapid Services operating until 2am. Take advantage of a $10 discount with Uber until 3am, getting a lift straight home from your bus stop.
